Frequently asked questions

How do I move the kidney?

Hold your finger in the control area at the bottom of the screen. Slide your finger to move. Lift your finger to stop. Keep your finger below the playfield so the kidney and hazards stay visible. Tutorials can be enabled in Settings.

Can I pause or close the app during a run?

Tap the pause icon beside Sound. Leaving the app pauses active gameplay; select Resume when you return. Active runs are not saved after the app closes or is removed from memory. Returning home from Pause ends the run after confirmation. Starting a run uses that day’s attempt, even if you leave before finishing.

What does Full Filtration unlock?

The one-time Full Filtration purchase unlocks unlimited standard Survival runs. Without the unlock, free play includes one standard run per local calendar day. Daily Benchmark remains one attempt per benchmark day for everyone. The current purchase price is shown in the app before purchase.

How do I restore my purchase?

Use Restore Purchases in the Full Filtration purchase screen while signed into the Apple Account used for the original purchase. Restoring restores eligible unlimited standard-run access; it does not restore deleted local progress. If the unlock is unavailable, check your internet connection and try again later. Contact support if the problem continues. For billing or refunds, visit Apple’s reportaproblem.apple.com.

When does the Daily Benchmark reset?

Each benchmark lasts 24 hours and resets at 04:00 UTC: 9 PM Pacific Daylight Time or 8 PM Pacific Standard Time. The countdown in the game shows when the next benchmark begins. You get one attempt per benchmark day. Starting consumes the attempt; ending or closing the app does not restore it.

How do scores reach Game Center?

Sign into Game Center on your device, then submit from a completed run’s summary or enable Automatically submit scores in Settings. Standard Survival and Daily Benchmark have separate leaderboards. Rankings may take time to refresh. Daily rankings are provisional until that benchmark closes.

What happens if score submission fails?

Completed scores are saved on your device. Open the leaderboard and use Saved Scores to retry eligible submissions. Standard scores can be retried later; Daily Benchmark scores must be submitted before their benchmark closes. Closed daily scores remain saved locally but cannot be entered into a later benchmark. Deleting the app may remove pending scores.

Will my progress sync to another device?

The game does not provide its own cross-device progress synchronization. Personal records, achievements, streaks, registry entries, benchmark performance, and pending scores are stored locally. Game Center manages scores you have submitted to Apple. Restoring purchases does not restore local game history.

Is the game medical advice?

No. Avoid Nephrotoxins is arcade fiction. Medical conditions, treatments, and timelines are simplified for gameplay. Do not use the game to make health or treatment decisions.
